Joseph Hollander
Yossie Hollander is a high-tech entrepreneur and investor and one of the pioneers of Israel’s software industry.
In the past decade, Mr. Hollander has devoted much of his time to public and philanthropic activity.
Mr. Hollander is the main supporter of Yad Vashem's project of collecting and recording the names and details of Holocaust victims and he initiated and supports the program 'Echoes and Reflections' – the largest Holocaust education and remembrance program in the US.
Mr. Hollander serves as a member of the board of the National board of Anti-Defamation League (ADL), the board of USC Dornsife College of Letters, Arts and Sciences, the board of Weizmann Institute and the advisory board of the Cornell University Center for a Sustainable Future.
Hollander also supports various organizations in the Energy field, with an emphasis on ending the world's addiction to oil. Yossi is the founder and chairman of Our Energy Policy Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to creating an open dialogue and agreement on U.S. energy policy and the co-founder of the Fuel Freedom Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to ending the US dependence on oil.
Yossie has been the IEP's Chairman since its establishment in 2006.
